About Us
Marnham Boat Club was formed in 1964 by a group of people interested in power boating on the river Trent. Since that time the facilities have improved from a stone lined riverbank to a club with changing facilities, 50 meters of jetties and a concrete slipway. During that time Marnham has fostered champions in both tournament and kneeboard disciplines.
The club enjoys three miles of continuous water in an idyllic setting on the tidal Trent providing ideal areas for families and picnicking, skiing at times agreed with the Canal trust and local anglers. Camping facilities are available locally at the Brownlow Arms public house where food and drink are also available. The boat club is situated within 10 miles of the A1 and A57 main roads post code NG23 6SG
